Fortodo Parental Controls give parents and guardians full oversight of their child's account — from creation through to independence. It is built around the reality that children grow, and the controls grow with them.
Child accounts on Fortodo are not restricted adult accounts. They are purpose-built experiences — with age-appropriate content, services, and safety features — managed by the parent until the child is ready to take full ownership.

Kid (under 13)
Full parental control. Parent creates account, sets password, and manages credentials.

Teen (13–17)
Monitoring only. Teen manages their own password. Parent can view but not reset credentials.

Adult (18+)
Fully independent. Graduates off Parental Controls. Family connection stays active forever.
Important: Account type is calculated automatically from the child's birthdate and upgrades on their birthday. It cannot be manually changed. Only Fortodo admins can override it in exceptional circumstances.
